Beautiful Mistake

A Beautiful Mistake: The mistake was on my part. 

The Beginning

I seen that John Bevere was to be in town this week. Yesterday God telling me to go to the church that was hosting the event that night. I kept pausing to confirm  if it was God and not me. He kept stating it was gonna be a blessing. Peace filled my room as I got ready. Peace filled my car. GPS was right and so was the traffic(especially for rush hour time). This was definitely God's doing. As I came through the doors, a sign met my attention "Happening tonight: Priscilla Shirer 

Women Bible Study for "One in a Million' " what?! I've read this book before and I loved it. I love Priscilla! Hands down, one of my all time FAV speakers! Been a prayer of mine for years to do a women's bible study of hers or Beth Moore's. 

 Whaaaat?! Are You Serious?!

Lord, Which do I choose? I've read the book and desired to do her studies in a small group for years. My all time fav speaker and author! Whaaat?! God, You can't do this to me. Not tonight! lol.  A woman came to meet me and informed me that John Bevere is the next night and I can join the women's bible study if I would like. Lol "God You knew all along. A sweet blessing of a prayer being answered years ago....and a Beautiful Mistake on MY part! Thank You Lord!"

The Beauty of it All

I went inside, and to my amazement many women with different backgrounds were there. The Lord led me to the table I am to be sat. God's peace was just flowing! I needed a NEW community, and as a friend of mine and I prayed a couple weeks ago, The Lord spoke to us both that it was coming. Not sure if this was the community He was speaking, but I could NOT deny the peace I felt. The ladies, old and young were opened, and very welcoming. I got to hear their background stories. Many of them were new to the faith with such a great hunger and desire to know God MORE! His WORD more. To know God MORE intimately. I could only smile inside, because I now know why He sat me here. To help and encourage, as well grown and learn for myself. You see, God has placed a desire for women's ministry in my heart for years, though I do other outreach ministry. This one in particular has been heavy in my heart that I am currently working on now. (Keep your eyes out for October, Ladies! Because a snap shot of what that ministry looks like will begin Oct. 1! Click here to see my post in regards to that snap shot!) I was able to hear and receive an understanding from their backgrounds, their desires, how they came to Christ. This whole time, I felt the joy of the Lord filled with His peace running deep inside.  The study is only 6 weeks long, and only every 2 &4th Wednesday ( I do believe). Which is so awesome, because I hate trying to make commitments when my schedule is already hectic. Plus, I'm still learning when God is leading and when I'm feeling obligated to go. Huge difference! On top of ALL of that, it's only 15min away from my house! So I don't have to take special trips to take a hop skit jump around, don't forget to pick my brother up in Asia, come back around to KS, don't forget to do some hula hoops in Africa, and jump back around to Texas, and come back to KS just for an hour trip! Lol. Nope, it's a straight shot. But, I still wasn't sure If iI should by the book, and stick to Bible studys on the following Wednesdays. I just wasn't sure where God was leading.

Sure, I Guess

God is so amazing that two of the ladies in my group offered to pay for my book! Still unsure, I kept refusing stating I would wait until next time. But I couldn't deny God's leading to accept the offer from the lady on my right. She offered 3x. After the study, I KNEW God was drawing me back for next time or so. She offered again. So, I asked her, if God was leading her to pay for my book. She said soon as she sat down in the beginning, she did, but she didn't know how to tell me. Lol. I didn't wanna rob her blessing, so I accepted. 

That Night

As I left that night, I was in total peace, and knew this was all in His planning and timing. A beautiful mistake on my part, but a beautiful sign of affection on His! I Love GOD!
