JUST INTRODUCED

Ever since my visit to see my sister and brother in law, and new baby niece in San Antonio, TX this past month,  this song has been on replay in my heart and phone!

A WORD FROM THE LORD

There was a time in my trip that my sister and I went into a spontaneous worship (worship that was not practiced but instantly inspired by Holy Spirit.)
In this worship it was a mixture of song and prayer. The Lord released a few words between us two. One in particular,  the Lord spoke thru my sister in regards to the body of Christ. "Go BEYOND the altar!"

So many times in general,  we tend to associate the Altar with the front area or front steps in front of the pew. We tend to think that going to the "Altar" is enough itself. You step up, let the preacher pray, and let it sit there. You leave the building, leaving it at the steps. But what if I told you the Altar isn't in front of the physical church?

#WORSHIP #SURRENDER #SACRIFICE

The altar isnt necessarily the front area of the church, it's a place of worship, surrender, and sacrifice. A place just between you and the Lord.

I believe God is calling us to go further as a church! Go beyond what we see and know, and go deeper! Go deeper in Him. Take Him with us! An altar is also your LIFE, your HEART, YOU! It's the place you lay yourself down. You give yourself to Him. Give yourself for Holy Spirit's work.

Looking at just the screenshot alone, #2379 the word 'Altar' in greek is translated as the meeting place between God and the TRUE worshiper. It's a place of consecration between you and the Lord. It's where the Lord meets with the SINCERE believer! Remember Jesus said in John 4:24 that God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit  AND truth!  Truth and Sincere pretty much means the same thing: real, honest, genuine, authentic, NOT hiding anything. This equals true intimacy! This is what intimacy looks like! A real relationship between you AND the Father!

As you listen to the song, I pray that you take it in, and recieve all that He has for you. Learn to listen to His voice, His whisper, His heart. Don't allow yourself to get distracted in this moment. Instead, focus all your thoughts and attention to Him. Open yourself up to Him. Be honest. Be real. Be authentic. Be SINCERE! 

If you feel the need to pull out the Bible and read a certain scripture, then please by all means do it. If you feel the need to lift your hands, shout Halleujah, say I surrender, write, or cry please by all means DO IT! That is Holy Spirit leading and ushering you in growing deeper into His presence. Sit at your Father's feet tonight, and gleen from Him! He has much He wants to reveal to your heart tonight. You were created for THIS PURPOSE alone! To be in total INTIMACY with HIM! #Surrender #Worship #Sacrifice!
