MUSIC MONDAY | KIM WALKER-SMITH : THRONE ROOM

This song always reminds me of one of my favorite encounters listed in the Bible (crazy enough, my sister has also experienced something really similar to this in a dream from the Lord!). It is with the Prophet Isaiah! The BEAUTIFUL thing is that, as children of God, we still have opportunity to experience His Throne Room on earth now! 

(His encounters are not only reserved for the people in the bible! They are examples of what we have the privilege to STILL experience on earth! It's like a DIVINE Interruption! Not Intervention, but Interruption! Interrupting our
'comfortable' living here on earth, and reminding us of His beauty/glory that is always waiting for our gazement!--Yes, I just made up that word 'gazement' Don't judge me!) 

We enter His courts with thanksgiving, praise and worship! It's simply surrendering the heart's will in exchange for His, and seeking His face! Opened to receive Him FULLY with no limitations! He inhabits the praises of His people! (Stay tuned for the Worship Wednesday Series, as we will soon go further into the Throne Room Experience: what it is, how you can get there, what you can experience, and more!) But, for now, listen to the song, allow it to minister to you, seek His face! Fight like Jacob, and say you won't leave without a blessing!- 

>>Your Turn<<

Run to His Presence by seeking His face! Turn your gaze upon Him! Thank Him for all He is and has done! Worship Him by surrendering your will for His in your life! Share with Him your HEART! (Not for only the things you wish to see, but tell Him how much you are thankful! If you feel the need to lift your hands, do it! Kneel on your knees, DO IT!  Shout for joy, do it! Jump, DO IT!! Because it is HIS PRESENCE taking over yours! Let Him become your JOY once more! 

>>Word from the Lord<<

I don't know who this is for, but the Lord has me speaking to you right now! Do not let the cares of this world, or satan steal your worship! Don't allow your heart's worship become quiet! You haven't worshiped Him like you used to. Or shout for joy like you used to. Something has stolen your focus from the Lord. It has become your distraction. It has choked out your worship! But, the Lord is going to use that very thing that has become your distraction, He is going to use it to bring Him PRAISE! He has already done it in the spiritual, and it has just begun in the physical! "If you would only LOOK to Me" says the Lord of hosts, "Look, I have already begun a NEW work in YOU! And I am He that is FAITHFUL to complete it to it's finish!" Trust in the Lord! You don't have to wait to see the finished product! You can worship Him NOW because He is worthy, He is HOLY, and He is AWE-some! Full of AWE and Wonder! Let Him become your JOY! Nothing and no one can ever fill the voids you feel in life!! Let Him become your worship once more! Allow Him to be the distraction to the distraction! "Will you not allow your eyes to gaze upon Me?" Thus says the Lord! "For I am always looking down from heaven upon you. But it is I who also stands next to you! If you will seek Me with your WHOLE heart, you will find Me standing by your side all this time! Just turn your gaze upon Me, and I will speak to your heart. I have begun a new work in you! And I will complete it to its finish! Trust Me!" Amen! Amen!

>>Throne Room Experience<<

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robefilled the temple. 2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one cried to another and said:

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory!”

4 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.

5 So I said:

“Woe is me, for I am undone!
Because I am a man of unclean lips,
And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips;
For my eyes have seen the King,
The Lord of hosts.”

6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. 7 And he touched my mouth with it, and said:

“Behold, this has touched your lips;
Your iniquity is taken away,
And your sin purged.”

8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:

“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”

Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” (Isaiah 6:1-8)
